Whitehaven Beach is a 7km stretch of pristine silica sand and gently lapping waves. At Whitehaven’s southern end, leave your footprints along the shoreline, relax on the beach and soak up the sun, swim or hike the short Solway Circuit for some amazing ocean and island views.

Great Barrier Reef full day adventure
Set a course for the outer reef on a full day interactive reef adventure.
On your full-day reef adventure, cruise through the gorgeous tropical Whitsundays to Heart Pontoon, permanently moored 39 nautical miles from shore at Hardy Reef. Plunge right in with a snorkel and explore the reef, or if you’d prefer to stay dry, peer out from the underwater observatory or take a ride in a semi-submarine. A buffet lunch completes your reef experience and, as the day fades into sunset, you’ll head home with lifelong memories of this epic Australian icon.
